Scholarships for Education Majors
The Lebanon County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees will offer a $1,000 scholarship to any Lebanon County High School.
The scholarships are available
to students who are planning a career in education. The award
is given at the Chapters June Luncheon, and is paid to the student at the beginning of the second college year.
Awards will be based on
scholarship, leadership, and need. Submission
deadline is April 1, 2014.
Interested students may
receive an application from their high school guidance counselors or by e-mail:
The same form is to be used for both scholarships.
Education Support Grants
Three $300 Education
Support Grants are available to any Lebanon County public school employee,
including the Career & Technology School, who contribute to PSERS (teachers,
librarians, nurses, secretaries, cafeteria workers, custodians, or
administrators). The funds are for a
project that would enhance and/or advance educational opportunities for the
students, and would otherwise not be funded.
The grants are given by the
Lebanon County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.

You will be put on the list to get an application when all the
regulations are in place. The maximum annual income limit
will probably be somewhere between $35,000.00 and $40,000.00.
